Guild Wars 2

My server has a large group in a Southsun overflow. We held all the camps and held off the invasion of Steampipe Steading, but the queen didn’t spawn.

How does this work?

The Queen Karka have a cooldown on her spawn so she won’t always pop when all 4 settlements are held.

How long is this cooldown?

maybe she was defeated a while ago?
afaik she doesn’t always spawn, she has an internal cooldown or something like that.

Would really like to know the time, can’t wait an eternity if she was killed shortly before

She went down an hour ago according to the map chat. I suppose the chest being up on the minimap would be a good hint that the cooldown is still active?

I would also like to know this been hanging around the cove for the past 1 hour or so and she has not spawned yet even tho we controlled all settlements for the most part /:

I love how fun the events are, you can keep defending and retaking camps for several hours just hoping for that small chance for the queen to spawn. I mean, who cares I want to experience the game, just waiting there for that small chance is fun in itself!

After I get this last achievement I won’t ever set foot in this annoying map ever again.

She just spawned. Weird.

From what I’ve seen, it looks like the karka queen has a respawn time of one hour (as long as all the settlements are held at that point). Can anyone else confirm this?
