Firstly I just want to point out that all this technique does is increase the kill rate of mobs, it doesn’t guarantee that crates will drop more often, but more kills = more chances.
There are a few people already using this method and most profs can do this, the most effective i’ve found is warrior and engineer. You need to be comfortable with strafing so if your a keyturner this may be awkward for you.

Warrior: swim around and proximity pull hostile mobs while harpooning passive mobs, don’t kite them too far from their spawning point or they will rubberband.
gather 5-10 mobs then use FGJ and spear5 to kill them and repeat.

Engineer: Use bombkit and elixers and swim over everything you want to kill continually spamming bombkit1, you will have to circle strafe a little to round up your kills. Enigineer can perma pull mobs this way and never get hit unless you sneeze, mouse batteries die or you get attacked irl.

thats it. With 290% mf, I’ve looted 61 armoured scales, 34 powerful bloods, 38 fangs(t6) and enough t5 mats to make 33 rare hammers for the mystic forge over 2 days of intermittent play

I know this isn’t anything new to most people but karka are a pain in the kitten to grind where as barracuda and skelks dropped faster then celebrities on tiger’s blood and sharing is nice.

goodluck.

As long as we’re on the subject of underwater enemies, the sharks in Sawtooth Bay are good for this as well. They seem to spawn in rediculous numbers (there are often 5-6 sharks right on top of each other) for some reason. I was able to grab my Aquatic Killer daily in a few minutes slaughtering mass sharks.
