Sooo I deleted an old character to make a new ranger to put my fervid censer on and then I realized I deleted the character with the censer on it…I sent a ticket in to see if I could get a replacement. They said no :/ Don’t you think I should be able to get another one? Anyone have any ideas?

I’m not fond of deleting characters that are high level especially if I can make them as my bank slots. I’m not sure if you can get it back unless they have system like WoW then your chances are high. Otherwise you probably did yourself in.

I would imagine they could at least restore the deleted character. Everyone should be allowed at least one restore. Problem is character slots and names and things obviously.

I haven’t heard of many people getting sole items restored from mishaps though. Maybe its kind of hard with their system.

Thats sadly the biggest “issue” with having the items rewarded lately through the achievements. Instead of a ‘quest’ or something. But I guess they do it that way to prevent large influxes of the items. Like how people were farming the back slots for Halloween. Not that there should be anything wrong with that. But I dunno what ANet thinks sometimes.

I could care less about the character I just want another fervid censer. Why can’t they just send one to me through in game mail?

You shouldn’t get a replacement for your carelessness. If you were making a new character to equip the fervid censer, shouldn’t knowing where the item is be a priority?This is no different than people that salvage their legendary or delete their character to see if they can unbind their soulbound equipment.

Sorry this happened just make sure in the future you always thoroughly check the character you’re deleting and get everything off of it.

I think it would be nice if they would provide other ways to get it (like turn in 250 karka shells for example, or have it available for gold, or from the gem store, or maybe even have it not be bound so people could sell them, i’m sure people don’t want a flower backpiece) Some of us really like that thing and would want more than one anyways.

Unfortunately, if they can’t undelete your character, you are screwed, but apparently they only restore characters if you were hacked.

I know it is not the same thing at all, and so sorry to hear about this problem, but maybe your ranger would like having a quiver backpiece, available for gems in the black lion store, or how about a killer whale quaggan which are really cute. Or the tentacle thing, which personally I find really ugly and disturbing looking, but with the right colorscheme and outfit it works and looks pretty cool.

I have two sylvari character but only one Fervid censer which my ranger took, transmuted and thus soulbound to her! She’s now taunting my poor ele with it… my ranger is so mean! So yeah, I would totally love the chance to get a second Fervid censer.

I would like to get a new second Fervid Censer (ok, more than one ^^). Could it be possible to have a new Mystic Forge recipe?
More backpacks should have a MF recipe for those who like another looks (the toy bag, the tentacle thing, etc).
