Group Events in Southsun feel tedious a bit
Am I the only one that is having problems with this?
it would be nice if they were a bit more random so it’s not always the same I guess
I’m going to assume that they will tweak all of the events once this part of the living world episode is over.
I sure hope so, since on our server we can’t hold all four camps for more than 5 minutes, and the zerg is always running back and forth. It just doesn’t feel fun.
Peoples’ laziness is a pretty big part too.

I think both the events where you hold the camps, and the boss fight itself are challenging and fun. I like that there’s constant attacks and lots to do. There’s a real sense of urgency.
However, I also wonder how this will work out once the map becomes less populated. To complete the events you need a lot of people, and they need to be spread out so all camps can be defended. I can’t see this happening on a regular basis in the future. At least not on less populated servers like my own.
It’s not the laziness that I mind, but the lack of other events to do. Let’s face it, people want to kill Queen Karka, so they keep running back and forth as soon as one of the camps gets contested, and after a while it gets repetitive. You can even predict which camp will fall next if you just look at the pattern.
I agree that there’s a sense of urgency, but after people leave the Southsun, we’ll be stuck on the east part of the island, since we can’t get enough people to do the group event in the middle point that blocks the path.
I had high hopes for Southsun, and it was great when there were riots, and animals attacking camps, there was diversity and I enjoyed it, despite those farmable instigators, but now, it’s just four events (camps) over and over.
They have managed to make Southsun dull and boring like it was before the patch, with an addition of new world boss.
