Which would you prefer to be permanent: the instigator events or Karka Queen?

I would prefer the instigator events.

karka queen made me sleepy and from waiting for it to spawn and fighting it!

Karka Queen is bad, but Instigator is even more dull. But hey, at least the meta-event’s settlement capture is somewhat interesting.

You sure make way more money for your time invested with the instigators. If the 200% magic boost leaves, so will most people from southsun

While the Instigators are undoubtedly way more profitable, that’s also the exact reason why I feel they can’t stay. It’s fine having them in for a couple weeks, but leaving them in permanently just provides an easy source of cash that can only lead to inflation.

I will miss you Instigator….I been playing since launch and this was first event that has given me exotics and rares.

Now what? Do I have to join a zerg guild and run kitten instances since that is evidently the only way to make money outside of playing TP tycoon? edit. actually the real method, the one they want me to take is buy gold with gems. GG.

CoF Path 1 is another thing that I believe needs to be addressed. (Although I feel it should be adjusted by a combination of improving rewards in other parts of the game in addition to nerfs of Path 1 speed-runs.)

Yea it’s totally ok for people to farm an instance a billion times and make mad money yet poor shmucks like me who like to just farm open world keep getting nerf bats to the face.

I’ve done the instigators about a dozen times and only seen greens at best. You’re only looting one mob, so the MF bonus isn’t that helpful. You get 2 guaranteed rares + the big chest from killing the karka queen, so I think the event itself is more profitable. However I don’t know how often the criteria for having her spawn will be met once the southsun living story is finished.
