This bug with names and item infocards/tooltops is pretty common… nothing unique to the shells.

Tarnished Coast Engineer and… general alt-o-holic.

For those who can not see it, the named “Karka Shell” was translated to a hybrid of Chinese & Korean. The oddity is that it auto-translated only for that item in a server that’s set to an English Language only.

The problem seems to have been stealth patched as all my karka shells have reverted back to English. Just rather odd.
