Who here has some sort of tactic in crab toss other than the obvious ‘zerg the one with the crab’ that most people do.

When ever I play a round and some one else is the winner. If that person stays for the next round. I will place a target on that person’s head and fear/yank/interrupt the kitten out of them even if they don’t have the crab so they don’t win again until they rage quit.

Another favourite tactic of mine is when I have the crab. I play chicken with the veteran karka and dodge through them so that every one that is chasing me gets flattened. Then hide behind the karka and use them as area of denial to run around.

What are some tactics you like to use?

pick up a stone – run near the carrier – throw the stone + grab the crab – turn right + dodge backwarts + turn – dash as far as possible away while keeping the button pushed for longer range

before anyone gets me (dodge on cd) I pass the crab to someone else and repeat the actions above. I won a few games with this standard-tactics.

I always let someone else grab the crab, then I steal it from them while they are picking it up (during the pick up animation), and immediately dash away to the other side of the arena (if possible straight into some giant karka, causing them to get very angry and flatten any people chasing me).

here’s a fun one

throw the crab at the fence; it’ll bounce off of the fence and land at your feet

you have to clear your target and perhaps aim your camera higher than usual

useful if you’re out of endurance and dash is recharging

Break the crates in the room. The fishing pole, the egg, and the anchor are all great items to pick up.

The fishing pole can grab the crab out of a players hands and bring it to you. This is a great way to get range on the group.

Egg traps are awesome when you are behind. You can wreak havoc on the group.
