Seeing how the Canach’s Lair gave over 1 gold per character really made me smile. I thought we would finally have the option to make some real money, and that completely solo, no need to rely on 4 others. It seemed too good to be true, and it was.

I was hoping it would have been on daily basis. After the huge economy explosion ruled by the CoF farmers and powertraders, making enough money to stay on your feet without doing CoF all the time is incredibly hard, and I thought this would finally allow people who dont enjoy grinding CoF to make an acceptable ammount of money in a short period of time, once per day at least. Really, 10 gold per day is a reason to log in, and yet it’s nothing too extreme seeing how this economy is these days. Just disallow characters younger than 24 hours old to enter the instance and the issue of people who create new characters all the time would be gone.

Sad day, I thought arenanet finally did something good for the community for these 2 weeks, but it was just too good to be true..

Can you point out where this “huge economy explosion” ruled by CoF farmers and powertraders is?

Just a cursory look on gw2spidy at prices of some desirable items like Charged Lodestones, precursors, and t6 mats doesn’t reveal me anything.
