Why does this item have an infusion slot if it is a rare item which cannot be upgraded to a higher rarity? The item being is rare is inferior to regualer rare backpieces with the same stats because it cannot be upgraded with a gem or crest.

Which I definately agree with. Give it the proper upgrade slot fitting of the rarity level, at least.

The problem is with other infuseable items they have built in gem stats that’s the problem if they are going to make it with an infusion slot then put in built in gem stats like every other ascended piece as has been pointed out currently they are inferior to not just rare but any high level back piece.

As for the transfusion matter that was brought up sure you could put on a 75-79 back piece to actually be able to do freely or farm zkey but if they expect you or you suggest to just transmute the skin then you are also kinda telling people to go buy gems either with cash or gold.

Either switch the back items to just be regular backs with gem slots or add gem stats built in like all others as it is right now they are rather pointless.

TBH when you need AR you need AR. If you don’t have 2k Fractal Relics or the cash to make a Ascended backpiece. It’s an option that gives you AR for the loss of stats I can see the use of it. It makes the skip from 9 -> 10 much less painful for new fractal runners (as they won’t have rings by this point)

As with every other item in the game that has a nice appearance but stats you don’t like.

But you have to infuse the back piece before transmuting something onto it or you’d never be able to upgrade it or have to buy a 2nd one or something?¿ .-.

Will it still be account bound if you do that?

I was wondering why it doesn’t have a regular upgrade slot as well.

Want the stats and the skin but with a regular upgrade slot.

It’s lesser version of the exotic too which makes no sense.

Well unless it’s changed, it will gather dust in the bank I guess. Shame, the graphic is awesome….the infusion slot is not.

p.s. throw this soloer a bone, this is first backpack with stats close to what I want + nice skin. Want to throw a sapphire into it.

I think this is a really weird item, stats-wise: It’s neither of the two groups we usually have, the first being the ‘old’ backbraces with jewel slots and up to exotic, the second being the new exotic or ascended backbraces with infusion slots. All of the latter can be upgraded to ascended though, which evens out the loss of stats the missing jewel slot gives.
For me, it just spoils the joy about the nice skin a bit that I have to sacrifice points from my normal backpiece (it was green and still worlds better, ok) for the skin only. And if I transmuted it, I’ve read it will lose both infusion and jewel slot, wich HAS to be a bug.
