The skelk spawns were genuinely buggy. There were certain areas of the map where they would spawn in mass.

I love how people keep whining about this.
I have NEVER farmed nor bought any T6 material, and yet I have almost full stacks of all of them sitting in my bank. So clearly it is fully possible to get the T6 materials without farming the same mobs over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

Now if you talking stacking your mats since launch, Ok, maybe then. Otherwise, a few months of “normal” play will barely net you like 40 of each t6 lawl.

No, I am saying everything is achievable without farming, and those that whine about farming getting nerfed simply can’t accept the fact that they can’t have everything right at this moment.

Man what an argument.

Video games are about instant gratification. Long term goals are for real life. I personally hate farming, but I don’t mind paying the people who put the effort forth to do so. They rightly deserve the ability to grind and farm out things if that’s what they enjoy doing, and with every patch A Net seems to release they make the game a bit more of a slow grind to get anything. Its getting depressing, because I truely enjoy playing this game. I just hate how they keep making things more tedious.

I have to agree with the OP here.
Let’s remove all ‘farms’, so people can actually focus on the game itself and not do chores.

Ps.: And btw, it’s not like there aren’t hundreds of other places/paths wehre you could do your grindfest (read: farm).

People quit games after 2 months of “farming” because if farming/grinding is the only way to obtain things and people feel its required then it burns them out because grinding is just that; A GRIND.

The ONLY thing in the entire game that requires ANY sort of grind is for Legendary weps, everything else is doable pretty quickly and easily (Exotic) or through dailies which come natrually through play (Ascended)

Ok Fair enough, but how did you actually get the T6 Mats? Random drops?

Because for most of us who don’t have a huge amount of time to play, if we want something that requires T6 Mats, targeted farming is really the only way go advance in a reasonable time-scale.

Woot. Glad I put in those buy orders on the t6 mats before their supply dropped.

Well there’s always buying them with gold, that’s what I’ve done.
