Guild Wars 2

This is the Karka event all over again. I’m in Gendarran fields doing the event. The whole thing is going fine until the very end when Scarlet Briar spawns and everyone goes to fight her. I’m fighting her, she’s got a sliver of health left and I get DC’d. REALLY?!?!?!? So , I don’t get to finish even one defense of a zone. I understand that it’s a cool idea to have all of these people doing this stuff at the same time, but my god! At some point, you have to realize that your servers can’t handle it!

Similar but not the same. It’s not a one time event, you don’t spend hours trying to complete the invasion, and there is hardly as much lag.

Sometimes you are just the victim of unfortunate circumstances. I’ve done eight of them and finished all eight of them. My computer is nothing to brag about, though it isn’t terrible. Now if people were getting DC’d left and right I would agree with you. But one bad technical experience with a 2 week ongoing event is really no big deal.

Well… to be honest, the event isn’t just two weeks. They said the invasions will continue even after the 2 weeks. I don’t know if that means the achievements will still be available.

Today i got DC’d from 3 events when there was like 10 minutes left to finnish, this is getting really of frustrating for me.
I’m not gonna bother trying again until Anet does something about the disconnecting issues.
Yeah sure Anet “fixed” the culling thing, but introduced more lag and random disconnects…i rather prefer culling than this mess.

And this weekend we got a free to play event, so this would be completely unplayable…sigh.
