ArenaNet, would you please be so kind as to adjust the /age command to also include the date the character was created on instead of only stating how much time has been invested in-game on that character/all characters?
Or at least include the character creation date in the character select screen under the character info (location, map complete %, etc.) please?
Especially with many character birthdays coming up, it would be of considerable use to know exactly when our character’s birthdays actually are.
Thank you.

I agree, this is a nice idea.
I never saw this implemented in GW1, no matter how much sense it made. So… good luck with that.
I would like this idea implemented!
ArenaNet, any chance you would be able to chime in here on whether you will allow us to see our character creation dates with this coming game update or in the near future?
Much agreed!
This would be a great addition
/age in GW1 WOULD tell you how old the character was (in months). Never tried this in GW2….what exactly does it state?
Nevermind (just tired it)….states the exact same as GW1.

I’m curious as to why this is not the case, perhaps it would be confusing with different time zones?
All I know is that it’s been like this ever since /age was invented in GW1 and I always found it odd how it didn’t display the date of creation.

It only states the number of hours that have been spent on that specific character, no hint as to how long the character has existed. The ‘months’ portion is related to time spent across all characters.
“Across all characters, you have played for <x> hours <y> minutes over the past <z> days/months.”
wrong it also say you ve played x houers on your character over the past y months
then ther is a second text
played xx houers across all your characters over the past yy months

Ah, I see. I was mistaken. It actually does state the # of hours spent on the character over the last # of days/months. It sends two messages to the chat, one for time spent on the current character over ‘x’ days/months, the other with time spent across all characters over ‘x’ days/months. For some reason I thought that /age used to send only a single message to chat where it stated only the number of hours on the current character and then the number of hours on all characters across the lifetime of the account all in the same message.
