I think it would be nice if we post pictures from event some funny or sad or exciting moments.

+1 for the glorious unicorn, Cletus.

The glorious unicorn will venture to opened rift (by player attacks) and have glorious adventure in rainbow land.

The event as I see it:

You cant access the event after ten minutes.

If your computer can handle it. You need to adjust the WvW character limits. You can set it to high number of players and the detail to low.

I join the battle at the beginning of every hour and I’ve only been able to access the event 3 times in the past 3 days. Out of those 3 times, a new build booted me early, a disconnect booted me early and the third time was a Scarlet kill but no progress was credited on the meta achievement.

I have also heard (but not proven) that if you wait in LA the message for which map is next pops sooner then when your anywhere else. My guild members were always getting into then zone and not getting stuck in overflows.

There was a funny moment this morning on Crystal Desert in Timberline Falls when one of the Twisted Champions was stuck up in a tree. We ended up giving up on it because it kept regaining it’s health (a mender maybe? or resetting?).

Either way, it made me giggle.

Stopped mid-invasion and me and the missus decided to take a holiday.

Either way, it made me giggle.

They leash, forever, and reset their health. However with enough ranged attackers you can actually burn them down; they never seem to go invul.

Why bother, the loot will drop up in the tree.

AoE loot is your friend.

Sums up large scale events nicely IMO.

You know… I never even noticed the unicorn for all the purple spooge.

Personally all I see now is this; which should really come with it’s own achievement rewards at this point.

Heh, had a similar experience in southern Frostgorge the other day. Was dealing with a invasion event inside the dredge caves, and all of a sudden the room was stormed by dredge. For some reason the place we were in were also the place for a defensive event between kodan and dredge. As we had enough trouble as it was dealing with a rampaging nightmare, the battle quickly dissolved as everyone ran for easier targets.
