will PVE culling removal result in lower FPS?

If they would remove it, your FPS will drop. But, they won’t remove it, Anet will simply make it customizable and allow you to choose character render quality and how fast you want to see all characters on your screen

So the Crown Pavilion area will go back to being a giant crater? That seems pretty sad… might as well leave the various levels so you can at least run around it still.

250 years later, still haven’t forgotten…

I should be more specific. I mean the Crown Pavilion instance. We have no information on what’s going to happen to the Pavilion in the open world.

Fixed.

It probably will remain there, but simply not accessable. Would be odd if the Great Collapse simply returns no?

In one event, this game is now ruined for me. I am a PVE player and I love the events and living world (up until now). I have spent an entire day trying out this content and have failed to complete it once due to not being able to get into the event. Due to the fact that I cannot reenter the invasion events if i get disconnected, this content is essentially blocked to me. Game over. Very disappointed. I will watch to see if this gets fixed, but have my doubts since I am but a lonely individual. I am so mad right now.

@Jadebat
Chill. Once the initial wave of ppl calms down, there won’t be so many overflows and I’d be surprised if you managed to join an overflow that was created 10 minutes after the event started. Just give it a day or so.

If they don’t let you re-enter the event, I won’t be able to complete it. I have no trouble getting into an event, but get disconnected after a seemingly random amount of time, and cannot re-enter.

I think it was a bad decision by marketing perspective the timing of the trial and this living content. The lower level areas are totally empty, many of my friends (doing trial) complained and they think the game is abandoned, no people playing it. It would be much better if the living content would be on low level areas and the trial players would meet lot of other players and to do.

Some people are saying something like the invasions are going to be permanent, is this true? I sure hope not… they’re fun and you get a lot of stuff, but it’s not something that should be around forever. It empties the other zones.
