Anet is showing that they care about all player types by releasing challenging content like Liadri, and fun content like Scarlet’s battles and banter (with an epic choice of voice actress to boot). Both these fights require players to use different types of mechanics, as to not just be a straight forward hack and slash. But speaking for the minority of players who actually love unforgiving challenges, the Devs should consider combining two elements that would make for a challenge beyond Liadri: Scarlet battle at the end of the Clocktower JP!

Since Scarlet isn’t dead (and most likely our personal nemesis), along with the fact that October is around the corner, Anet should make her take over the Mad King’s tower, and force us players to have to climb it in order to fight her. Any defeat would send players back to the bottom to retry. Once they do this, you’ll have a fight on the scale of epicness never before seen in game!

On a side note. To be fair for all players who don’t like challenging content, perhaps access to this fight could be a Gem Store only key. Then any achievement and mini award would be free from criticism.

But if you can win, you’ll not only get an NPC named after you, but also lunch with Colin. Sounds like a great way to promote such a challenge, don’t you think?

Why can’t you borrow money from a dwarf? Because they’re always a little short.

Mad King is crazy. Scarlet is crazy smart. But if making them a couple is the only way to get a Clockwork Clocktower JP, then I say in the wise words of Jean-Luc Picard: “Make it so.”
