Guild Wars 2

I have found the event, in general, to be very frustrating do to constantly disconnecting from the server. On probably close to 7 or 8 occasions I have gotten half way through the event, just to get dc’ed and not be able to participate in the rest.
If the issue is on my end I have no idea what it could be, as before this event I have never had such a major issue with staying connected to the servers.

A quick sugestion.. when you join the event, try to find a group, and friend the people on your group if you don’t know them, that way if you disconnect and log back in you can join the group again and join their overflow. I did that for some guildies last night and they were able to join the event when it had about 15 minutes left.

No, it would work as well if you weren’t. I actually got 3 guildies joining the overflow last night by partying with them and then they’d join me ont the overflow, one had disconnected (was on a different overflow) and the other two just logged in as the event was already in progress.
