When the invasions first started I kept hearing players complaining about all the ugly shoulders in their bank that they’ll never use. I happen to like them and want them, but they never drop from those boxes for me. I thought they had a high drop rate. Admittedly, I gambled and instead of taking the gear pieces to build my own, I went for the RNG boxes. That’s on me. But how many invasions should I expect to have gone thru before I got them?

Not sure how many invasions you have done. I have maybe ran around 15-20 invasions already since the events started and I have 6 in my bank. Always take the scarlet secret stash and keep running it.

Couldn’t find any drop data, but I have done ~40 invasions so far and have gotten 8 shoulders (from bags), where each invasion is typically between 3 and 5 Scarlet bags. If you are worried about getting them, stop gambling, and just get the scraps.

This is why they shouldn’t make stuff like that bound, either soul or account. There is no reason to. I have plenty that I would give you for free. They are really ugly, they have more clipping issues than usual (that’s saying so much because of how badly clipping is in the game). Maybe they should have let us combine two to have one on each shoulder. That might have helped. As it stands now it looks like you have a pile of garbage on your shoulder.

I get that it was a rush job to do these, but they are just so bad.

I’ve participated in 6 or 7 invasions so far with only 3 of them ending successfully. I’ve managed to collect 2 Twisted Watchwork Shoulders so far.

These numbers probably won’t mean a lot to you, but hopefully you won’t lose hope. Personally I believe that picking the secret stash is usually a better option than the scraps, but that might just be because I’m a bit of a gambler when it comes to loot.

I’m at 5 sets of shoulders after ~12 invasions, always taking the boxes not the scraps. I wish I could sell some, I put one on my warrior just because he doesn’t look that bad with it but they don’t fit any of my other alts…

Yeah, I wish they weren’t bound. I’d gladly give one of my four to the OP.

Seriously, what am I gonna do with 4 of these things? I didn’t even want one, personally. And I can’t even sell them to vendors.

If I could trade them you’d have the 3 I have so far. I do not like the look of them personally.

Done dozens of invasions and not a single shoulder set. Ever.

I would have gladly sold my ugly shoulder piece.

It won’t even let you trakitten, you have to type in its full name in order to delete it, as if its some kind of super high end armor or something. Its annoying.

Personally I think they put all this stuff in the game to take up inventory space, just to get you to buy more space.

Done about 15 invasions, have 4 Twisted Shoulderpads. I converted one to a PvP version for future storage, and have no idea what to do with the rest.

I got 6 from boxes and I’ve done maybe 30ish invasions.

Got 4 shoulders in under 20 invasions. And I even used my first 5 invasions to get Shoulder Scraps to make sure I got one. So my drop rate has been quite high.

But that’s RNG for ya.

7 Invasions getting the Scraps should get you enough to build the Shoulders, unless you beat Scarlet. In which case you can get it in as few kitten total successes.

The drop rate is less important than that, I’d say . . .
