Enough with the random invasion maps already
Given that Dredgehaunt Cliffs happened twice in a row this morning, yes, there needs to be some sort of pattern to the zones being invaded. Not necessarily a fixed, set order, but some sort of coding that makes sure that a zone will happen at least once every X number of hours, or that this other zone won’t happen more than Y times in however long.
From a dev in a different thread:
- Every map will be invaded at least once per day, probably twice. In some cases, three times.
- Builds do not affect the rotation.
- The rotation is the same across all servers.
- If you play at the same time every day, you will see all 13 maps by the end of the Clockwork Chaos release.
Hang in there!!

It seems like that would be true if the rotation was in the same order every hour, as there would be a shift every day. But we’re seeing things like Sparkly Fen, Iron, Sparkly Fen, Fireheart, Sparkly Fen.
anyone know of a way to afk to not get booted? I’ll just camp my character at Fields of Ruin to get it over with.

What do you mean? For not getting kicked out because of inactivity? It’s simple:
1. Face a wall.
2. Press any assigned auto-run key.
3. ????
4. Profit!

I just leave my game running in the character select screen. When it gets close to the top of the hour I log in and walk away for a couple minutes. If I come back and its not the map I need I log back out to the character select and wait until the next hour.
I think that dev is full of kitten. “Just play every kittening day at the same time and you’ll get it eventually”. Okay, well some of us work for a living.
