Guild Wars 2

I accidentally got the holographic communicator with a wrong character and the thing is soulbound.
So I figured that if I deleted it I could get a new one with my main.
I guessed wrong, so now I don’t even have one on a wrong character.

Is there a way to get a new one? To complete the events without one?

I am in the same boat, though I didn’t delete mine. But I do have mine on a lower level alt and feel that I’m not going to be able to complete it because of it.

Anet are your going to make any changes to fix this, maybe making it account bound instead of soul?

One of the Devs said in another post you can do 5 invasions on any character. I sure hope so, because I think a lot of people did the story and got the communicator on a character they shouldn’t have, myself included xD.

Wonderful. This, along with issue of events not starting in overflows, makes this chapter of the living story even more annoying.

I just tried this with an alt and every time i near the pavilion doors i get pushed back, so unable to enter and speak to him.

PS: is he available outside the instance by any chance? i didn’t look for him outside as i thought he’d be only within the instance?

I can’t get one, either and it doesn’t register on characters without the device.

He’s outside of the pavilion, near the pit. Can’t miss the teleportation gate he’s building.

Darn i finally got scarlet on the alt i thought couldn’t get one and yep no achievement lol. ah well i’ll go back and look for him tnx.

why not just make the communicator Account Bound instead as I too was in the same boat
