I hope so. How do the titles work if there’s two Queens? Would they both just be called Queen, or would it be King Anise? Don’t care either way, I’d love it.

You’re looking at it the wrong way. Anise like Logan, but she knows she can’t have him — and if she can’t have him…no else can… >:)

She protects Jennah only because Jennah pays her salary.

From what I gather, it’s not that Anise is forming the 3rd end of a love triangle. She doesn’t seem bothered that Logan likes Jennah but rather the level of obsession he takes. I think she wants him to grow up a little. Being a mesmer, her choice of action is mind games.

I hate to say it, but Logan is portrayed as pretty much of a dufus. After a while, I’d be tempted to be condescending to him, also.

Actually, him saving the queen has absolutely nothing with it. It’s a much simpler matter. If the queen cannot trust the commander of her army, then she should really pick someone else for that position. Because it means he’s either not trustworthy enough, or not competent enough, and any of those is pretty much disqualifying.

In the commoner story where Anise is all “let me use myself as bait” and it’s Logan who points out that her randomly walking around the middle of nowhere by herself is a really obvious trap.

Most the NPC’s don’t really show competence anyway. If their strength meant to be that they a great fighter that won’t really come across in the game because NPC’s are mostly useless in actual fights regardless of how good they are lore wise.

It is because Logan can’t think clearly when Jenna is in danger. Which is not a good thing if he is supposed to be her protector. Anise’s job is to protect the Queen, above all else. Since Anise can’t trust Logan to keep his emotions in check, especially when the Queen is in danger, she has been trying to slap some sense into him this LS.

That means he’s not the right man for the job and should be replaced with someone competent. Keeping him in position but cutting him out of the loop is the worst possible solution here.

I think she just wants Logan to be less clingy to Jennah.

After all it is the job of the Shining Blade to protect the monarch not the seraphs job.

Logan is a good character. He just needs to be put his “place” a bit.
