… villages being razed! Mass killings of NPCS!!! I felt that is why Flame and Frost was meh because there was no actual attacks cept a few small camps. This is even less then that, that I seen so far.

Destroying the Lion Statue and Lighthouse were good ideas. Need to bring that up to like leveling a part of Divinty’s Reach, like a section or 2 destroyed. Or actual towns being burnt to the ground or badly damaged.

This. Seriously, we need a three way battle between the centaurs/Seraph/minions throughout Kryta, the legion forces fighting to push out the twisted as well as the branded, the pirates in Bloodtide Coast conflicting with the Aetherblades, the jotun and ogres fighting against the Twisted in their regions….need I go on?

If this is meant to be an invasion, it needs to look and feel like one. While I like what they were trying to do, it doesn’t really feel like an invasion.

True. At least the normal dynamic events have an impact on the world, even if it is only temporary. These mass invasions do nothing, absolutely jack. These powerful villains just stand there and wait to be butchered, only engaging enemies in their nearest vicinity. They don’t even contest waypoints!

It’s like their only function is to be farmed by the player characters…

That IS their only function.

To be fair, most of the enemy advancements are stopped at a critical point even in world events. Centaurs just hang out in Ascalon Settlement, not even burning the place down, something that could be followed up by a simple reparation event after the centaurs are gone. Except for a few instances, the enemy seems to be doing nothing after taking point X that changes the area in the least.

But this invasion just tops it with even a failed event concluding in the complete retreat of the enemy. The portals are randomly appearing, and the spawned mobs have no direction as to where to go. I guess the randomness should be due to the whole “chaos” theme, but even the mobs could just go on a rampage, spread out a little, hell, just damage stuff or do something! It would be kinda hilarious if they would do some of the events in their way, like at some of the more contested regions, where the portal spawn atop of an enemy stronghold.
