I mean, she shows up as a super genius, and she is tricked by a mesmer clone. Not only that, but the way she is defeated inside the playhouse… I mean, I thought she was smarter than that. It is a good thing IMO, it proves that she is not such a mary sue like I was expecting her to be since she can’t live up to her reputation.

Well as the Asura even says, he’s pretty sure that she was given SIGNIFICANTLY more credit than she deserved. I -like- that she’s really smart for a sylvari, yet still not a super genius, it’s good for villains(hell every character) to have flaws.
