The achievements for this living story stuff and possibly others really need to be thought better about and reworked in the future.

We’ve got things likes;

Invasion Canceler
Participate in 13 full invasions on 13 different maps.

I’ve been in some maps and feel that some never fully trigger, I’m not sure if you lose does it still count (like Dulfy says on her guide). I’ve been on both Frostgorge and Fireheart rise and taking part but I’ve still got 1/2 for the “Friend of Fire and Frost” achievement. I have no idea which one was accepted.

The same applies to Invasion Canceler, I’ve been on around 9-10 different invasions but my tracker has me listed at 7/13.

I sort of listed down the maps but now I’m starting to question which ones were actually registered since I’ve wrote down 9/10 map names but only 7 are tracked on the tracker.

The worst part is that the tracker doesn’t even tell you which ones you have taken part in. Same applies to the diver achievement, there is 38 diving spots but it doesn’t have a check list of which you’ve done. If you don’t do them all in one ago while going down a list, you’re going to end up forgetting a few and you’ll have to backtrack through the entire list.

It would be like playing pokemon and being told to collect all 151 (old school) pokemon but the catch is that it does not tell you which one you have already caught. Your on 149/150 “Do I need a another pidgeo?” oh let me just check my list “…” “There is no list…”

Couldn’t agree more. With several achievements having several tiers, it would be nice to know what exactly has been acomplished. The diving goggles are a great example. Multiple dungeon paths would be another good example.

I know we can track them ourselves, if we know or think about it at the very beginning so tracking is accurate. People that may be part way through an achievement like goggles & not realize there was an achievement & are interested in completing it would probably have a hard time remembering which goggles they have used. Or someone who doesnt follow dungeons in order from story line, path 1, path 2 etc. if time goes by how are they expected to remember which paths they have done?

Im sure there are plenty more examples out there, the bottom line is, the achievements need better tracking.
