Kudos for better layout in the Achievements of this Living Story. I am talking specifically about the Emissary Vorpp’s Field Assistant line.

Having the Achievement categories “appear and present themselves” as you progress through the story brings a sense of direction I have missed in past Living Story patches. Please keep and expand upon this idea. It feels more inclusive for me as a player rather then doing a bunch of random stuff — that I know is related, but still feels a little random.

:)

except there is no way to go directly to the list and check your next step. Watch a step, and you’re taken to the watched list on click. Click the living story notice and you end up in the queen’s speech list.

This would be nice to have.

I still don’t know what to do. I am standing in Ascalon settlement. I talked to Vorpp and he says I need to get 5 portal readings. That’s it….he says nothing else….doesn’t say where to go or what to do or anything.

Elbegast, you need to fo 5 of the events that spawn once an hour (Location is shown on the sidebar ‘Clockwork Chaos’ section Portal events spawn during invasions and you just have to complete 5 of them

But yus, I agree with OP, really a big improvement in the Living Story Achievements lately Especially since Dragonbash and Aetherblades, with the ‘Smash 200 pinatas’ or ‘Kill 100 aetherblades in *certain zone’

I love that there’s a real sense of story progression, with the achievements and I also really like that some require you do the event, along with a small skill element, such as the ‘Swift Closer’ achieve which requires you to close 5 portals in 15 minutes A bit more of a challenge

A step in the right direction methinks
