Guild Wars 2

I suppose I’m not the only one to have encountered this, but today in the last invasion I participated I had the feeling Scarlet had taken it at a personal level. I mean in the other invasions she appeared at the end of some events when there were still some players around, and we unsuccesfully hit her until the very last time she appeared, but it seemed a random pattern.

But this last time, she teleported lots of times exactly where my character was… even when I was alone running from event to event or just if I stayed a bit trying to organize my inventory to fit all the loot. And when there was more people still fighting, she always appeared right behind me, attacked me and made me fly to the other side of the event, and then disappeared.

Scarlett, honey, I know you hate how glamourous and lovely my female thief is, but you have nothing to do against it :P

(Now, does she really target characters during invasions? I’m curious, because believe me, this time she seemed to have targeted mine).

She seems to pick one character each invasion and always appear right where that character is.

Today I was crafting on ebonhawke (my favorite crafting spot because all crafting stations, bank, guild bank and TP are right next to each other, TAKE THAT VIP AREA), and the invasion started on fields of ruin…. and I hadn’t noticed (had bank and TP windows open checking if I had all materials I needed and buying the ones I didn’t) until she appeared right on top of me and started wacking me around. I attributed it to randomness, as I didn’t have any event or even any other character nearby, and continued with my shopping… and she did it again… and again… and again.

In total she did it at least 8 times (probably more, I had to step off the computer for a while and when I came back my character wasn’t where I left it).

One interesting thing, she did appear right next to me when the event ended and we had to kill her, and there was nobody else around so I guess that’s how she picks where to appear in the event ending, so a quick PSA, if you happen to be lucky to pick her attention, go near an uncontested waypoint when the event is about to end.
