Can an ArenaNet employee please just tell me?

I work 40+ hours a week, and have a social life. This weekend I logged in just about every hour I could to see if I could finally get this map out of the way and it has yet to appear.

HOWEVER, I’ve seen Fields of Ruin, Fireheart Rise, Gendarran Fields, Lornars Pass, Mount Maelstrom, Dredgehaunt Cliffs, Harathi Hinterlands, and Iron Marches up each consecutively after each other.

I’ve heard that each map is played at least once a day, sometimes more. I don’t believe this at all, since I’ve yet to see Frostgorge.

So, we’ve gone through 40+ invasions without a single Frostgorge? That’s pretty dumb.

It will appear when you are asleep, when it will be invaded 5 times in a row. Then it will disappear for another few days.

I seriously thought of setting my alarm clock for every hour on the hour so I could check, zone in, and complete and go back to sleep lol

Frostgorge finaly happened on Yarks bend today … .. i had to stay up until 1:00AM .. thx A.net …

i have all achievement except but i have 10/13 … i have no idea how i will be able to complete this .. limited time to play + map rotation is always the same when i log in.

Are you freaking kidding me!?!?! 1 am!?!? Est? Man I shut the game off and went to bed at like 11:30 PM last night… If only I would have stayed on for another hour and a half…………. FML

I’ve never seen Timberline Falls. I saw Iron Marches for the first time last night, but was in the middle of doing something else. I’m pretty sure those are the last 2 I need for the Invasion Achievement (but since there isn’t a way to know for sure, I’m just guessing). I’m at 11 of 13 and didn’t think of keeping up with it from the start.

BTW, I already have the meta, so this is just for points and I’ll live if I don’t get it (but I’m sure I will over the next week or so).

Just like QJ, the dailies count towards the meta.

That’s correct for the 16 achievements you need for the Watchknight Tonic. That does not apply for the achievement of doing all the maps for the invasion. For that, you do indeed need to be a part of the invasion on all 13 maps. Win or lose, you get the achievement.

When converting from UTC to server time, those Frostgorge invasions are HEAVILY skewed in the late night/morning hours server time. Hopefully, Frostgorge will start popping at a time so those NA players who can’t afford to stay up all night and work standard business hours will actually be able to get it.

We’re nearly a week in. I have to admit with what we’ve seen so far with the Frostgorge timing, it’s not exactly instilling much hope in “If you play at the same time every day, you will see all 13 maps by the end of the Clockwork Chaos release.”
