I read the backstory of Scarlet, and i just noticed something, according to the story she was hungry for knowledge and the idea of choosing her own destiny, wich made her despise the pale tree by the end, who pretty much said “for not following the path i laid out for you, you are a dangerous individual”.
But then this whole event has her targetting the human queen. I mean why? The queen herself dosn’t truly command her subjects to follow a path unlike the pale tree wich has a mission, or wild hunt for each of then, so why did she target her at all? The whole excuse of her being “insane” would work, if the background didn’t show her being complely sound of mind even after seeing the eternal alchemy.
If i’m missing something here i would like a explanation.
