the worst thing i could possibly do is go to an aetherblade event.

but if i dont, i dont get even 1/2 the loot i could get by trolling the people who want to get their achievement for tagging scarlet… i only miss out on like 1 bag from the meta reward.

they have 1 more day. then ill probably have my watchknight tonic, and then im farming the kitten out of those aetherblade champs. come on. its better than frostgorge. screw people who want the achieves.

Go farm the champs man the tonic is trash. And I don’t think you need to win to get the tonic.

You can easily get the tonic without ever killing scarlet, since you’ll have two weeks worth of dailies to fill out the meta. So even those who want to farm have little to worry about.

you dont understand because youre purposefully taking my words out of context. ill finish my own achieves, and screw over other people with my greed.

wait 1.5 weeks, youll start seeing threads with the OP complaining they didnt have enough game time to complete their achieves.

People still get credit for the invasions even if they fail.

The only achievement that it is not possible to get if the event fail is the one for defeating Scarlet at the end of the invasion, as far as I know.

you get a daily 2 rares for tagging scarlet as well (or finishing?)

People have been getting better at it on Blackgate and we’ve been able to clear all of the aether spots and still succeed.

If it comes down to it sometimes you just have to temporarily drop your tag and blend in with the crowd.

I also like how the Commander is very uninformed about how the current Living Story Meta-Achievement works. Just like real life!

yea, i think as time passes, people will (hopefully) learn to be more efficient.
defininitely got most of the best loot from the aether boxes though. ah, and from champ twisteds as well.

They are learning already. A lot of people were running in farming zergs because they did not know that it is actually way more efficient to run in smaller groups, (IF you are doing the events and NOT farming champions. If you are farming champions, the zerg is better for you because more champions will spawn), so they just followed the commanders.

I’ve been noticing that the event is getting easier because of that, or maybe I’m just being lucky. Last time I’ve completed an invasion, at Dredgehaunt Cliffs, there was a farming zerg with three commanders just farming champions and we could still defeat Scarlet with 4 extra minutes.

i know exactly how it works, thanks for assuming. people are still gonna get griefed en masse.

Farming the aetherblades sounds like a good idea.
