I agree that Light in the Darkness was awesome. That mission does a fantastic job of pumping you to go after Zhiatan. I think its also very important in both Trehearne’s development and his relationship with the player character.

SPOILER Is this quest bugged? I just went in there and the quest would not progress. It says to follow the pale tree but when I speak to it, nothing happens. I finally got to the end of the zone and nothing….

I got this bugged too. What I did i re-logged and even after creating a portal by Pale-tree insted of entering it I spoke to her again. After entering the portal Elf-Necromancer properly starts talk sequence with Pale tree and rest of the quest went smoothly.

This worked for me also. Relogging and had to do the quest again, but it worked the second time through.

I agree completely, this quest really grips you into the story of Orr and what you will be facing. I felt a strong connection with Trahearne towards the end I couldn’t wait to get out there and fight with him. This is by far the best part of my story so far. Great job Anet!
