In the personal story we get choices, true, but the hype that Ree put on it just didn’t deliver.
- I saw an interview with Ree, where she said that she read a lot of mythology and such, and tried to bring that into GW2 for the players to feel like a hero (she also said that she liked writing for Tybalt and bringing him to “life” in the game) but we don’t affect people around us, really. We are just helping them. We don’t really get to have some form of relationship towards the characters.

- Anyhoo, the part where we affect people around us in a permanent way is still not apparent, and I’m gonna be real with you guys here, I’m no fan of the PS. We don’t really get to feel the impact that we are making and I think that the PS could be so much more.
- We have friends that disappear, people that are not properly introduced (Trahearne is better introduced through the Sylvari storyline, but if that is not the first time you meet him, he’s going to seem… well, poorly introduced).

Our friends from the beginning, and all the people we meet, can have different opinions on our choices, leaving us to choose whether we are actually still friends with our krewe, warband, etc. as the story progresses.
- I can hardly believe how disappointed I was in the personal storyline (I’m more cool with it now, still not a fan, but it manages to slightly amuse me at some points). It has so much more potential than this.

And maybe try to make the PS and its choices intertwine with some Open World events, just so that players can feel a difference and an impact on the world.
- It’s just an idea, but try to broaden the horizon.

Right now, GW2 feels like 3 different games. There’s the PvE, there’s the Personal Story and there’s the PvE – and we have the LS as fillers (though, I must say that I am intrigued with this next part coming up. I hope we get some real action).
