I wonder, did anyone else feel a pang of sadness at the end of “Breaking the Bone Ship”? No doubt I need to spend less of my life playing GW2, but I got all choked up…

…on the news that Tonn bought the farm. Not that this was unexpected: his departing words were upbeat, but the clear message was that he didn’t think he would live through this action but it had to be done anyway.

I liked the little Asura from the start. Sure, he was arrogant, but also friendly, reliable, and good company.

Kudos to ArenaNet for making a story that gets you emotionally involved with a cartoonish, somewhat comic character.

I hardly knew him long enough for it to be an impact. Claw Island was a bit different, and really the entire height of the story. After that particular mission the quality of the story and the missions sunk tremendously, and the Guild Wars I knew and loved didn’t show up again until The Source of Orr.
