Howdy, everyone.

I’m at the personal story junction for the Norn where you have to choose whether to help the Vigil or the Durmand Priory.

I tried to find out some more details on the Vigil’s plan, but accidently accepted their quest. I feel that the Priory’s goal of protecting Scholar's Cleft is a more worthy cause than the Vigil’s, but I wasn’t able to change my choice.

I haven’t progressed any further in to the story yet, so I’m not sure if there’s any way to abandon the quest and do it again (a la GW1) or not. Not even sure if it’s something ArenaNet could help with, sadly.

I don’t want to recreate this character for something so tiny, but I don’t want her story to permanently say she’d rather beat up mole-people than protect the people at Scholar's Cleft.

Nope. You’re stuck with whatever choices you make.

Yeah – I’d just rather beat them up in order to defend some scholars than help the angry Nornbro who just wants vengeance.

Oh well. I’ll have to wait and see if I can overcome my OCD or if I have to delete her and start over.

I accidentally chose the wrong order as well. I already chose the Order of Whispers on another alt, I was going to choose the Durmand Priory this time, but although I clicked on the right npc I think I was standing too far away and it was the other one I actually go the options for. I only realised afterwards and then there seemed to be no way of backing out, which is a shame. Maybe there should be an option to change if you haven’t gone very far into it.

I suppose it down’t make any real difference, it’s not as if it gives you any special abilities or anything is it?

Oh well I guess I just need to be more careful with my next alt.
