Guild Wars 2

After much frustration with my ranger being stuck at “The Hatchery” I decided to play an alts story. So I hop on my warrior and play his for a bit. Then I get stuck after completing all the objectives in “Dredge Assault”? I really do not want to do it again. Please fix this.

So I think what happened was the NPCs killed the secrete dredge weapon before I got a chance to tag it. I thought the waves of dredge popping out of the ground would stop but they didn’t so I kept killing (as a warrior with a huge hammer should)! By the time I decided to go look for my comrades they had destroyed the machine and I was just stuck in the instance. After going a second attempt I just ignored all dredge—after destroying the door—and zerged the weapon. This did the trick and I was sent to a cut scene and continued on my happy Face-Smashing Warrior ways.

Yeah this just happened to me as well. Decided to sort my inventory after the initial fight, the NPC’s took out the dredge weapon and bugged the quest.

I had taken part in the assault on the weapon having smashed the doors down but it still bugged. All objectives ticked up as completed

This just happened to me as well. Not sure how it happened, but I never saw the weapon so the NPCs must have destroyed it for me.

It just happened to me. In fact I am still in the instance. I have completed all the steps it says, but there is not end or choice to make.

the same bug happened to me as well. didn’t get to target the dredge weapon, because I was killing dredge and now i’ve completed the quest objective “destroy the prototype” without even having seen it. no cutscene, just hopping around, nothing happens. grrrr.

Just had this problem as well – the npc’s must have found and destroyed the weapon before I did; I was busy focusing on all the dredge that kept spawning!
