I haven’t been able to reproduce the bug, but I did some minor revisions to the story step to try and make it more reliable. It will be updated in next week’s big content patch. As a side note, did you die and retry at any point?
Nope I did not die at any point.
We are having the same problem on Tarnished Coast server NA. We kill the Eye of Zhaitan and nothing else happens.
I had the same issue, I have tried this quest twice and both times I have killed the sovereign eye when he had the two lesser eyes out scattering pulses on the ground. It may have something to do with that?
This happened to me first attempt – second attempt I had no problem.
I think on the first attempt I killed the eye just at the moment that it was teleporting from one place (the side where it has the two lesser eyes and the frogger-style pulses on the ground) to another (the centre of the pool). May be significant?
