Guild Wars 2

Playing on a level 78 sylvari thief. I’m having an issue where when I start the mission, I run forward a few steps and a cutscene where I talk to Trahearne, Carys, and Tegwin starts (at least I think those are the ones in it, I haven’t watched it all the way through recently.). After that cutscene, it immediately launches into a second one where there is dialogue on the bottom from the Eye of Zhaitan and Trahearne where the Eye of Zhaitan is supposed to appear and start bringing out risen (however I can’t see the eye in the cutscene, almost like it never shows up.

However after the cutscene ends, I can’t go any further in the mission. theres no fight with the risen and my mission objective is stuck at Take cover until Trahearne signals the attack.

I’m level 80 Sylvari warrior i got the same bug can’t do anything tried to reset it many time nothing happen.

in this quest Eye of Zhaitan must appear behind the mirror but that’s never happen check this youtube

Just a note, If you have a non-sylvari buddy do the mission with you (I did mine with a Norn), it will work properly. The other (non-sylvari) character has to start the mission though, and you have to join them.

Grrr, just got hit by this as well. Glad to hear it’s getting fixed. I can go play an Alt until then happily.

Vaguely related not: If I do a forum search for “Through the looking glass” (with or without the quotes) I get 18 results and this thread isn’t one of them. In fact none of the results appears to have anything to do with that text string.
