these 2 quests are bugged very often. I have 7 lvl 80:s.
2 times i’ve seen Battle of Claw island bugged. First of the generals never started to talk in the beggining (happened 3 times!) and the second time nothing happened at “rally in the courtyard” when the dragon decides to land.

retribution bugges out when treahearne refuses to walk up the stairs.

horrible.. so i guess this is a univesal problem then. hope they read this

Happened to me a few days ago, i just ran around and finally ran back and fourth under the dragon and he eventually used fear and got everything back on track.

I tried that and it worked! Thanks!

Had this same problem, tried it twice and no dice.. Then I ran around the bottom of the dragon, and it fixed it.. lol..

I did that entirely by accident this morning…was running around looking for Treehead…and Lil’ Tequatl came through for me. Good stuff to know.

ummm I have a bug with The ghost story says to read letter which I did but it didn’t complete. I’m now stuck as it says to still read it how can I, I read it and deleted it.. now I am at a lost.

I did Battle of Claw Island the other day and same thing happened, dragon landed and disappeared. Only when I cleaned up the entire courtyard and moved around near where he landed did he pop in and out several times then proceed to fear so I could proceed. Definitely a bug.

Thank you for posting this Can confurm that this trick works. After multiple tries of re doing this story in hopes of it being fixed before and after patches I can finally continue with my story progression. Lets hope it gets fixed some time soon but until then this seems the only way around the bug.

This mission still has problems, over a month later.

Still broken, dragon lands then vanishes.
But, I was able to continue by running to where it would have been (there was a charr on the ‘wall’ which the dragon had broken, standing in mid-air to show me where).

Tried the first battle of claw island on my warrior, ive bugged it for 6times now and all on the same moment when u have to help out the lionguards and dragon lands, right after that it stalls and cant do a thing anymore
