So I read that if I make the same story choices as my friend, we can complete the quests together and both get credit for them. However, we are getting close to the racial sympathy arc of the questline, and I want to know if we picked different races for this arc, would we be able to then go back to doing the same quests after the racial arc is over with? I guess to put it simpler;

My friend and I are at racial sympathy arc, and have made the exact same choices until this point. I pick quaggan, he picks skritt. After we both finish the arc, do those choices make it so we can never do our personal stories together and both receive credit again?

The personal stories are surprisingly linear. While your racial sympathy choices are different, when they both end the personal story will return to how it used to be.

You’ll both be able to play the same missions together – after that story – and get credit for it.

Since the story quests are instanced you can play together all the way. Just be on the same map, and your friend will still get an invite. After that just finish his quest.

As Keyce said, after the arc the stories converge again to the same quests until you have a choice again. My friend and I deliberately take different paths, so that we can see more story arcs =3
