Critical Blowback [Blocked]- search for survivors.
Anyone know if this is just bugged or what’s going on? Just ran into this too trying to do my personal quest.
Still bugged out. Have done this mission 4 times since yesterday, EVERY time it’s bugged back to “Search for survivors”. Same thing happened the first time I did it on my Warrior, but the second time I got completion.
This is a known bug, and has been for at least couple weeks. (Long enough for it to be noted on the mission’s Wiki entry).
A fix would be lovely. I, as I’m sure many others would too, would like to be able to progress.

What’s the exact objective test?
“Search the chantry for survivors” should complete once Demmi appears and opens the gate for you.
I had this bug as well, but I managed to complte it when I tried the mission again.
From what I understood, the bug appeared because I ran towards Demmi into that cave where she appears before the quest objective actually appeared (Demmi triggers, but the objective completion doesn’t). Have you tried staying near the blocked path until the stage has “cooled down”, waiting a bit before rushing in?
This should be very fast to experiment on, as it’s the second objective that you get completed normally after under a minute in the mission. If you want to be super helpful, write down what you did and what affects and what doesn’t affect to the quest objective getting not-completed

I was just running into this same bug, and I can confirm that you have to wait for Demmi. The ‘search for survivors’ objective turns into ‘talk to Demmi’ but only AFTER you wait for her to run out and stand in her prescribed spot. If you run up and talk to her the rest of the mission will play out just fine, except that when you get to the end it just won’t complete. Might I humbly suggest putting in some sort of sanity check in missions that will mark earlier objectives as ‘complete’ if you have already done later ones? While I realize it could lead to some sequence breaking, that’s probably better than running around a completed story for half an hour wondering where the devil these survivors I was supposed to be searching for were hiding…
