Guild Wars 2

During the last ten levels of the story a couple of red flags were raised.

The first one was during the “Forging the Pact” quest. The last part of it was to use the orb to defeat the Risen.
“What orb?” I asked myself. “Well, must have been something I missed.” So I moved on.

The next quest was to liberate “Crusader Apatia”. My first thought, “Who the hell is Crusader Apatia and why does she need rescuing, why does everyone talk about her like we are bffs?” But I rolled with it and started the quest. “Who the hell are these guys now?” I asked as I saw the NPCs that accompanied Traehy and me. I finished the quest and got to the next one.

“Go to Fort Trinity,” it said. And so I did. Traehy asked me to meet him there, he said an old friend wanted to see me. So logically I assumed it would be Dinky, maybe Gullik survived, hell even my father (I was a Charr). Alas no, it was some weird bird woman with a gas mask on her face, like the child from Doctor Who. Then I set there and wept.

Basically the point of that is, what the hell happened to my story? It seems after “Forging the Pact” the entire story went bananas. Admittedly, that was around two weeks ago, but for some reason I felt like posting about it now.
Now, I have some questions and a couple of points.

Later on the two charr I picked from Ascalon were there when I killed the Mouth of Saur- I mean Zhaitan, and Fktokchak came as well (best character ever), so it only seems those three quests were affected.

Now for the real reason. Was my father supposed to contact me? I rescued the awesome Vallus Smokesmane from the Black Citadel and he said he would contact me, but he didn’t. Did it bug out? Did he forget? Are you saving it for the expansion for some kind of Mass Effecty reunion?
