Dwayna, Balthazar, Grenth, Melandru, Lyssa, and Kormir…

Does it affect my human character’s personal story, anyhow?
I don’t really see any difference, when I choose a different God on another toon.. except for the first narrative cut scene… or did I missed something??

It does not affect anything at the moment. Except for a few useless NPCs in the home instance. In other words, nothing important. Choose which you like best.

A priest or priestess will appear in your home instance representing the deity you chose, that is all.

The God you choose should effect the story but i think AN should change the whole choosing a God to be like a boon of some sort in PVP’s or WvWvW

It also changes what your character says I think? My female necro always talks about grenth (although not actually in the personal story, but stuff she randomly says in combat etc), which was the god she chose at creation. But as for the personal story, really not much.

Grenth is the god most closely associated with necromancers, though. I think that particular instance may be a coincidence. My Elementalist was blessed by Dwayna, but hasn’t said one word about Her since. She mentions Balthazar or Grenth when attuning, from time to time, but never Dwayna.
