Simple question, does personal story give good gear for levelling and some wuvwuh(wvw), I play on Jade Quarry so theres tonnes of players which means dying alot isn’t to big of a concern besides repairing but I need gear that will get me through levels 20-40.

Not really. When I did my Personal story, I found the gear karma vendors gave much better gear than the rewards for the PS. Also, craftng your own armor also tends to give you better stats than the stuff a PS gives you.

So, if you don’t have time for crafting, I suggest getting Karma to buy yourself an armor set about once every 5 levels.

I think if you do the PS at level, you should end up with gear that’s better than what you can buy at your level. Some parts you can still buy from the vendor that will be better, but most of them should be better.

You mean blue equipment one to three levels lower than the stories listed level. Somestimes you do get the odd piece of green jewelry but its mostly just blue gear and some odds and ends.
