Earning "Hero of Shaemoor"
You dont really earn your title on any PC, it’s just convenience. The game needs something to call you because they couldn’t voice your character name into the dialogue.
the problem here is that everything has to be done while new characters constantly start their new character, if it’s pretty much only in cinema’s then there is no interaction whatsoever, if it’s in an instance then it defeats the purpose of an open world.
currently all i do is unlock my starter skills, go to the seraph and simply skip the whole garrison.
at times the door is closed but when the earth hand appear while you just got there it will simply save you at least 5 minutes of waiting and another 4 till the hand appear again.
the reason why they removed karma from saving the ppl is because it became a farm spot and you simply found ppl walking out of the tutorial place with 10K+ karma
i want a reason but within the borders what we have now, making it to long might frustrate some ppl while adding cinema’s makes things more and more annoying since you can’t skip them.
Actually, the title might be earned because you’re the only non-Seraph partaking in the fight, while all other civilians run or need to be escorted to shelter.
You on the other hand just barge in randomly and slay centaurs, when you obviously are not even from town but from behind the safe thick walls of the Reach.
So with some humour the title probably must be taken as a nod to your not-required-of-you wager of your life.
It would be nice if you could use the titles you earn through your PS.
Savant, Slayer, Hero of Shaemoor, etc (haven’t created Charr or Sylvari).
Perhaps, if the engine allows it, make them character-exclusive to avoid having human Savants and Asura Slayers.
Well your title makes sense in the Sylvari and Charr racial stories: Sylvari are Valiants because of their Wyld Hunt (special personal quest) and Charr have a specific military rank. Not everyone can be the Slayer of Issormir, the Snaff Savant or the Hero or Shaemoor.
