So I during my personal story I come to a point where I have to make a choice as to how to proceed in a mission. No big deal considering I’ve done this several times before, and usually picked the one that either made the most sense, or most interested me. I’m given a choice to run headlong into overwhelming odds with little chance of survival, or do some things that weaken my enemies and make my goal easier to accomplish in the end.
At this point I’m incredibly tired of the ridiculous amount of mobs being thrown at me in story instances, as well as the useless npc’s who provide more hindrance than help. Seems an easy enough answer and I choose the mission that lets me weaken my foes beforehand. WTF…. I’m told that I’ve joined a faction. I didn’t want to join any faction, especially the one I was now placed into for making a tactical decision that made sense.
Imo tying a faction choice into a decision like that is silly. It would be nice to have a way to change factions to correct any errors made in choices, or maybe remove the forced join and simply give the option later.
