SPOILER ALERT

I did Forging the Pact with my husband a little week ago and we kept progressing with eachother past the first 2 storylines. We have the same order which is Durmand priory.. At the end of Forging the pact,Trahearne mentions us having to blow up an undead ship of Orr or something similar.
After completing my story, and my husband progressing with me, we get 2 different follow-ups however.

His is called Tower Down, where he does indeed have to blow up a ship.

Mines called Striking Off the Chains and I have to rescue someone from krait slavers?
I was sent a mail from Trahearne explaining the quest.

This objective just came out of nowhere and doesn’t feel like the natural progression at all.
Now I don’t want to progress to that step because I don’t want to ruin my personal story by doing a random quest that doesn’t fit in. It seems like I was given a wrong follow-up. Can anyone confirm this or help me please?
I don’t mind not doing my quest for a while if there’s a fix incoming. I’ll just do the story with my husband and experience it that way. Still sad I can’t get my quest done though

Consulting the wiki it seems you were given two choices at the end of the quest (like a few times before) – do X or do Y. So you must’ve chosen different paths.

I’ve heard about this. I’ve heard of people choosing to join the Order of Whispers, and then ending up siding with the Priory, instead. I’m just going to hold off on the 3rd part of my story until this crap is fixed.

We heard . . . we listened . . . we ignored.
