Guild Wars 2

So, I’m playing my Humi Thief and I get to the meeting with Trahearne and the Pale Tree where she sends us into that dream quest and we travel through dream-Orr. The mission is pretty simple, follow plant guy around while he talks about Orr, fight a few monsters, then listen to the Pale Tree be all wise and whatnot. Shouldn’t take more than twenty minutes ….

But the place is so kitten explorable! Everywhere you turn there’s another jumping challenge just getting all arrogant and demanding you put it in its place. I couldn’t walk across the screen without running into one … hills, ruins, fungus – everything! The dang mission took me Five Hours to complete! And I had to restart it three times because I fell into some nook what wouldn’t let me back out again. (stupid unclimbable walls)

It took all my self control to finally pull me away from it. Forget boss fights and hoards of monsters, this was the hardest mission I’ve done by far.

the dream fog makes it hard, best is to use the minimap to navigate and follow the marked road there and your ok

If you just wait till you get to Orr you can explore the same area to your heart’s content (because that’s where she takes you anyway) and not waste hours in an instance

Yeah, but there are tons more monsters to deal with in Orr; there are next to none in the dream quest. (and I’ve been in Orr for awhile, just never had as much freedom to run around – which is why it was so addicting)

I find the conscript the dead ships the hardest when it bugs. There are times that all the first wave of the undead will pile up into the rowboat killing you everytime you spawn back from defeat.

The steel tide is also tedious since the giants doesn’t seem to die so the waves of undead never stops.

I did this on a engineer 3 levels below. My gear was mostly blue gear that were less than level 50.
