Q:

Hi, im a Charr Ranger from Darkhaven/DHE. Gyn Bound Soul

Loving the game so far, less “Personal History”.

1. Daily Quests for Warband/Krewe/Wyld hunt/Toten/Seraph. Rewards in Cultural Tokens for Cultural Stuff(equip, consumables, recipes), and Ranks(titles). *I doubt it any Charr player dont dream to be called a “Tribune”*Etc

2. Daily Quests for Priory/Vigil/Whispers/Pact. Rewards in Order Tokens for Order Stuff(equip, consumables, recipes), and Ranks(titles).*I doubt it any Whisper player dont dream to be called a “Whispers Councilour”*Etc

3. Some “unique” quests in Personal story could receive a Challenge Version(like Challenges in GW1). Claw Island, Arah, Fort trinity for example, where everybody can free enter the instance.

3.1 More enviromental/Strategical features on them. If i want to fight Zhaitan only in Cannon on the Ship i need to have the possibility of it. 5 Players arent enough for Defeating a Dragon(Except for end game perhaps).

3.2 The enviromental/strategical features arent relly usefull atm. It it not feeling like u make real difference. We are fighting the worst possibly threat ever, the Dragons, and if time and retrys only is enough to win that sort of mission, why i ever spent time on upgrading my character? At Arah Zhaitan flies and wreck the ship sometimes. IF we couldnt hit him properly while on air, we should crash and face him on earth cause our ship is broken. If we (PLAYERS, not cutscene) are able to hit its wings in 3 minutes, he will then attach to that tower. And then he must be able to fight, shielding himself, reflecting our projectiles, using skills that if not currently countered would end the mission for us, etc. *GW1 against Great Destroyer, Shiro, Mursaat, on that if we dont have real timing in using our skills we will end up dead and not being able to finish the mission. Man, its a END GAME mission, it MUST be HARD and LEGENDARY. If you fail a certain amount of time, its over, restart, etc.*
On the cannon agains the Dragons it must be next to FPS games, we trying to hit the Dragons, and they fleeing and defending, and suddenly attacking, making us the trouble of TIMING and INTELLIGENCE.

4. Secondary Objectives. They were SO COOL at GW1, why remove them? On the ships batlle, if we are not filling like shooting the ships, we could swim and invade their ships as well, why not? When we go rescuing the guys from the other ship, why not find an power socer deeper in the ocean an receiving the option of shutting it down and making a difference in the batlle power of the Risen.

5. Broken Plots. In Fort Trinity we are ordered to shut the doors, then when we finish, some foes SPAWN at our eyes, WHY SHUT THE DOORS THEN? OMG. Make it in a way that depending on the time and order we decide to shut them differenc foes ENTER the space we are in, making it surprice and real. And IF players go in party and go 1 for each door, they will find themselves agains 5 or 6 foes, not being able to close it alone. Thats would be so cool. And about the Claw island, when we retreat, we could close the doors while the Risen bring a Ram to destroy it, making it real and enjoyable.

5.1 Broken Engines(not bug). Risen hit us (players) for an amount, and NPC’s at certain places for nothing. Why not making them hit and receive dmg as normal character. Making Ressurection/Positioning really effective agains the waves. If you fight a HUGE wave and dont mind really making effort on Claw Island, they just keep hitting each other forever, kinda funny seeing that. In other way, when Risen attack Vigil fortress, they are SO MUCH STRONG against NPC’s that u cant possibly think of Ressurect or use the NPC’s at your side. When playing “The Batlle for Lions Arch” i felt legenday, cause despite the walktroughs saying ill be pushed back till Queen Salma, cause of my strategy and Heroes i actually never leaved the place near the gates. THAT is awesome. PvE missions MUST be affected by characters strategie and intelligence, thats crucial.

6. Rewards. I HAVE KILLED ZHAITAN! Why i dont have the title: “Hero of Orr”? I have finished missions very fast and strategically, i want to be rewarded for that! Etc. I’m OK needing to complete a crazy grind to get Legendary Weapons, but if i beat the game, kill a DRAGON, and helped saving the world i will receive a GREEN JEWEL? Common, i want at least a good skin, title, or something to be reckon with. or maybe an EXOTIC weapon unique to PvE Personal History(GW1 did that happen very happily).

7. ALL! That’s what i could think off in some minutes. Im sure ANet/NCSoft will improve the Personal Story before any other Elona/Cantha or something like that. Actually there’s no player saying “Its fun” on Personal Stories, so that is must for the game(i asked my guildies and other ppl, they all say “it’s boring”). GW1 was GREAT at that part by the way, EotN was the best MMO/PvE plot ever, i could almost forget i was playing online.

8. Thanks! By the way, the game is great, despite some issues. Its less than a month and i already prefer it instead of any other MMO, even with the “missing content” that im sure it will be implemented.
