I didn't know I was playing Trahearne's story.
He’s known to sylvari, who will encounter them during their story. But yeah he dos yoink the spotlight away from you/your order and he marks when the story begins t homogenize.
I’ve noticed he does sort of take the spotlight, but at this point our characters are merely cogs in the machine of The Pact. The story has mostly been about how they developed and joined an order, then helped the orders to form the Pact. I’m okay with our characters still being a major part of the questline but taking a bit of a back seat to The Pact instead of having everything be all about me.
I miss Tybalt
Also his voice acting is.. sub-par.. to put it lightly. Really wouldn’t have minded him as a side character.. but man.. I have a really hard time bringing myself to like this guy.

Welcome to the party! There is no punch or pie.
Seriously hacked me of that did. Especially the 70+ story I felt very much the sidekick of Trahearne and he the main character and hero.
Not impressed at all with ‘my’ story… sorry sorry… his story.
Same. He just takes the title of “Marshal” for himself, and suddenly I’m a Commander who doesn’t command anything?
It was a bit… sudden, that’s all.
but then, even though he’s the commander, takes all the credit, gets all the glory, he’s still: “oh no, you go first, I’ll just stay here behind you and do absolutely nothing.”
Yak Cultist and follower of the Great Golem God
As much as i agree with you, he steals spotlight. But we again have here common dilemma for Guild Wars Nightfall players, if you would become supreme leader of The Pact and defeat Zhaitan and other Elder dragons that is one statue worthy thing you did then. now lets suppose there comes GW3 and we would find lore of this hero, we would have more marshals of Pact than there are members in Pact. In other words, we have to just be happy with nameless heroes place in Trahernes shadow.
