I'm thankful for the number of replies here.
I’m in, Thanks Jeff!
Excuse me, but whom are you two referring to? I feel like I am completely clueless here…
Edit: did a quick search, and found out who it is.
Ok…so thanks Jeff.
But I really haven’t seen any threads/ replies from Jeff in the necromancer section of the forums…
Perhaps OP meant this to be somewhere else?

Thanks a lot Jeff.
The communication from Anet when it comes to bugs and issues has been amazing.
Keep in mind, the players are passionate because they like this game. They want to play fun, you’ve done this.
This current rush of really bad posting will continue until all the bugs in the game are fixed. Think about that for a minute, then remind yourself, you are doing gods work on these forums.
edit:
Don’t ignore the negativity, just take it in and learn to filter through it. You can’t get mad at it, but some times you need to be able to distinguish weather the person has a right to be mad or not. Something that I’ve seen work with other games is to take a hard line against the whining. If it’s a valid complaint and it’s worded well, allow the thread to exist. If it’s someone just complaining to complain and there are 20 threads already about the subject, close thread, link them to the thread they can complain in.
As I grow older, I find it’s impossible to make everyone happy, but making everyone mad is a piece of cake.
It helps to get ideas on the forums and discussions happening rather than being drowend out in the tears.

I’m surprised by how good these forums are.
Well, all things considered!
They could be better if you ask me, but I’ve used many, many forums and these aren’t too shabby.
Most official video game forums are outright horrible!
I remember Arenanet saying that they’d put more focus in maintaining their forums than most do and that they’d have higher standards.
This was way before the release.
I had my doubts due to how many people treat large official forums as the perfect place to throw temper tantrums or troll.
If you guys keep up the good work I’m sure that these forums will only become better and better.
Thanks Jeff and Arenanet in general!
Who is Jeff.?
Is this the GW2 version of where’s Wally…
Do we have to search for him in mobs and dungeons. and get a super little prize if we do.. :p
Well yes ok maybe im being a little frivolous but big bowl of Karma for the Devs that do come to forums a lot and pass on knowledge about updates and bugs it is all appreciated even by the guys that rant a lot {im sure}
Compared to other games and other companies, Mr. Vaughan (pardon any spelling errors) has put more into this forum than any other game I’ve ever seen.
Ever.
So… let’s thank him. Even if we criticize.
Please.
Wrong Forum. This is the Necro Forum. we are the “unloved step-child” of GW2. We have had 1 post telling us good job on pointing out bugs, and 1 post that was copy pasted into all other class forums.
And lets not forget the single post in the pvp section telling us to L2P.
So not sure what your talking about and who is Mr. Vaughan?
:o
I was so excited to finally see a mod reply on the necro forums….until i read this thread only to find out this has nothing to do with necromancer.
You can’t thank or applaud anyone if the necro section never got a reply from a dev/mod.
now +1 me

This should be in the Personal Story forum I think, where Jeff Vaughn has been doing a splendid job of dealing with personal story hiccups. I don’t think I’ve seen as much dev activity in any other subforum as that one.
Necro community upon reading this thread:

SarahWitter, please move this thread to the appropriate forum section, I fear it will get not so great looks here …In the abyss of sadness and despair of no mans land…aka necro forum section.

You have posted this to the completely wrong forum Sir.
As others have mentioned, we got a “thanks for the list of bugs” for the list of bugs that have been around since the Beta Weekends, and have been faithfully reported by ever more depressed necromancers since that time.
Then we got a “Necro is fine; L2P” but that wasn’t even posted in this forum. That was posted in the PvP forum.
This forum thread saw a cute thread in the necromancer section and paid it a visit. It is now back home in the personal story area.
:)
I feel like I complain a lot, but I actually do appreciate that the forums get so much attention. So, yes. Thank you.
Haha I wondered why all the necros were made at me.

Sorry not mad at you. Thanks to this being moved back, i was able to see that it is very evident that your very active on this forum. It is good to see that some players problems are being addressed. Keep up the good work.
Now if you could only nudge the Dev working on bugs.
Oh how about making a paper airplane, put “fix necro bugs” on it and throw it in their general area.
It’s nice to see actual staff who work on the game taking time to tell us what’s what.
Report a problem and there’s a decent chance the person who works on that area responds instead of CS rep. That’s what I call real customer service.
Jeffrey Vaughn clearly isn’t Tivac, he’s just a cool dude.

INDEED!
So much red reply, my eyes are hurting!
Srsly tho forget Jeff… thanks all the team at Anet!
Also so glad we don’t have a competition on how many individual red names we can get in one thread thing going on here. (hint hint)
I also really appreciate the posts here in the personal story forum. Perhaps some of the class balance guys should take a note from Jeff and post their thoughts as well, if only because even when the posts are just “Hey how can this story step be fixed”, or “Can you provide more info” or even just “No info at this time but hey we are looking at it” those kinds of posts really make it easier to wait for fixes.
I know that I can get kind of nervous when there is no information on things coming, but if I know that a dev has looked at it and if I can see some of their thoughts on the issue, it makes the waiting much much easier.
So thanks Jeff, your posts are awesome
I really like that you guys read the forums and post regularly. I try to be critical and honest in my posts which sometimes comes across as a little bit harsh. I also feel bad for all the negative things you have to read through on the forums and I want to make a post outlining all my enthusiasm for the game. But then I feel so enthusiastic I just want to play rather than post about it.
Just so everyone at ArenaNet knows, GW1 and GW2 have a bigger place in my heart than is probably healthy for me.
:)
The Arena Net staff has been amazing on this forum.
Thank you!
I have observed replies from devs, community directors, content developers, producers and many more! Thanks again for taking the time out of your just work days or time off to post and let communicate with the community. It means a lot to the players that love this game!

I disagree with Jeffrey on some things but I really seriously do appreciate the level of communication and 2 way dialogue that he and Bobby do here in this subforum.
