Guild Wars 2

So I’m still new to the game my highest is my 50 Charr engineer. When it came time for his legion I chose the Iron Legion as it made sense from a story standpoint (also I have an affinity for blue gears from another MMO which I won’t mention). So when it came time to choose and order the Priory seemed an awkward fit but a fit nonetheless. Still it was the choices I made that drove me to the Priory, not the stats of their gear.

So on my female human Street rat Mesmer I set out deadset on having her join the order of whispers. But as I played her story her portrayal changed in my mind. She chose to save the people over her friend Quinn in one mIssion. The impression I got of her was of a rags to riches or maybe thug life to chivalry lol. And when the order missions came around for her I couldn’t help but have her go along with the Vigil.

By no means am I an RPer, but I value a good story and in each of the two characters I was compelled to choose an order more for the character of the order and how it meshed with the very perceivable story arc for each character.

Bottom line, major kudos to the personal story team! The story arc is vey real to me!

… Now I guess I’ll try and make my noble human guardian into the order of whispers one! But I guess noble=politician, so sneaky backstabbing makes sense! Also, I laughed when the clown told me I could outwit a Mesmer thinking “yeah ya know I happen to be on!” Lol
