Less exciting moments because of poor sounds?
Well my biggest issue is when the NPC’s have run-on dialogue, it happens a lot in cutscenes and other events where an npc is talking fast. Separate sentences will run together and it becomes a garbled mess. I don’t remember it being silent when the dragon came nore when the beacons were lit, maybe you need to turn up your environment sounds? Idk. I do think a few of the effects need to be given a little more “epicness” sometimes though.
~Surrender fiend and you will get an easy death
~I could promise you the same…but it would be a lie…
Watching a youtube video of the event (claw island), a lot of the cinematic sounds I did not hear ingame were in the video. Ill have to check my audio settings.
But there still are moments that are dull. For example, at the 11:45 mark of this video.
You can’t hear any battle or explosions. Definitely not epic.
Battle of Fort Trinity is the primary offender of this for me. Runner up could be the part where you kill the Sovereign Eye of Zhaitan.

today ive played the story Armor Guard when tegwen dies and The Steel Tide when Tactician Beirne dies for Deborah and i was a bit disappointed about the music in the background, it sounds more angelic than sad, to quiet and to short interval either.
it also ruins the sad moment as i talked to Deborah after the dramatic cutscene, kneeling infront of Beirnes corpse and she says the common npc-text
- do you need assistance- or somethinglike that, before the next cutscene with her sad voice starts.
